The fewer the words you enter, the broader the search and the more the results. Start with the
broadest possible search. You can always narrow it down later. The same goes for location.
For example, if anyone within your state is acceptable, don't enter a city or a ZIP code.
If location is irrelevant, then simply check the box that says the favor can be performed from anywhere.
A word with less than four letters will be disregarded unless it is the only word your enter. If words with
less than four letters are essential to your search, separate them from the rest of the words and from
each other wih a comma. Some examples will illustrate:
- If you enter cat dog both words are only three letters each. Both will be ignored and you will get no
matches. If you enter cat, dog (i.e. you add a comma after cat) then both words will be taken into
consideration.
- If you only enter one word such as cat the search will include cat since it is the only word.
- If you enter adopt cat dog only the first word is long enough. The other two will be ignored. The
solution is to separate them with commas like so: adopt, cat, dog.
Do not enter words that are not descriptive or that are too broad. Words like that, which, and, the for, a, what,
on, an, if, under, etc. should be omitted.
